Well, I'll start a post game thread I guess...
Thoughts on the team - Wenning had great maturity and patience. Loved the option (glad it worked). Wasn't a very flashy offense, but it was fast when it needed to be and they slowed it down when needed too. The defense played amazing, considering all the hype (and very evident) hurry from IU (Wilson!). Overall I was happy this didn't look like last years team.
Thoughts on Lembo... I love him! From what I could see from the 500 level (front row ;D) he was a great leader on the sidelines. Really nailed one guy when there was a dumb penalty after a 3rd down stop. Overall, He looked proud to be a cardinal that night
About the game atmosphere... I was i initially pissed it was moved from Muncie, for fear we were giving up any home-field advantage. I was glad I was wrong. I saw many more BSU than IU fans in and around the game. More vocal, more pumped, more ready. I loved what BSU did to make it feel like it was a BSU home game. Absolutely LOVED the game at LOS, and that would have been true even with a loss.
Overall... I walked out of that stadium with my wife and two kids so damn proud to be a Cardinal. Great Win!!!

Totally agree with what you said above.
I also want to give a shout out to the offensive line who absolutely dominated the Hoosiers especially in the second half.
The two new Rb's were also special in my opinion.
Just a great night to be a Cardinal fan. Sure glad to see all the arrogant comments made by Hoosier fans on their various message boards, get shoved right back down their throats as was also the case in 2008. I guess they are slow learners not only about Ball State but the MAC in general.
Parity in major college football, to a great extent arrived nearly a decade ago but I guess the Hoosiers and their Big 10 brethern have not figured that out yet. Same could be said for the rest of the automatic qualifier conferences in the BCS!
WAY TO GO CARDINALS AND COACH LEMBO AND STAFF!

The only bad part about this is BSU fans is down so we can't talk up the W. I called every game but the buffalo game last year, and at times, I didn't recognize the team on the field last night. A great effort!

Agree with all above, especially about bsufans being down. I've hated that all week. This IS a different group. It' not, at this point, anyway, a flashy offense, but it does seem extremely "manageable" and effective. Wenning looked so poised and well protected, at least last night, that it was amazing. Really enjoyable and proud to be a Cardinal as all have stated.

Well with bsufans being down we will have to make this our home for now. Idk if it will be up soon or not but I really want to hear what all the doubters are saying now. I absolutely have a man crush on Lembo. He will have great success at Ball State.
Scott and Edwards are going to be awesome. It really feels good to have two north/south runners. I hope when Brown and Sykes get healthy that they will have to fight for carries in practice, because I believe Barrington and Jahwan proved themselves worthy.
Who is this Ollie kid? He and the rest of the D-Line played extremely well last night.
As a whole you can just tell this team is stronger, mentally and physically. Last year if we allowed an opening drive score like that we would just lay down and let the L come. This year you couldn't tell that we were behind at any point.
How about Lembo yelling at the refs for calling the illegal chop block and the 3rd down run and getting them to overturn it?
Just my thoughts. Go Cards

I guess as much as anything that already been written, I was struck by how much our qb has improved since last season He was one cool cucumber. I know it's hard to gauge a season by one game, but should be a fun team to watch this year.
